Thank you for your contributions and queries. First, you are right, both ultrasound pachymeter and Goldmann three-mirror lens examinations are subjective, but all the measurements were performed by the same examiner (Dr. Servet Cetinkaya). We did not state this in the manuscript since it was a brief communication (the number of the words used are restricted).

Second, it was a retrospective study. The patients with ocular hypertension were examined routinely after the phacoemulsification surgery. If it had been a prospective study, we would have measured both central corneal thickness and intraocular pressure at different times of the day.
