Since this condition is usually symptom free it is discovered as an incidental finding on radiography for a coincidental disease. The abnormality is characterised by numerous spheroid or lenticular areas of condensed bone, usually at the ends of the long bones, bones of the hands and feet, and in the pelvic bones mainly around the acetabulum. The ribs and skull bones are said to be free. In the orthopaedic outpatient clinic at the Medical College Srinagar during the past three and a half years, this was the first and the only case recorded.}, URL ={https://journals.lww.com/ijo/pages/default.aspx/article.asp?issn=0301-4738;year=1966;volume=14;issue=1;spage=36;epage=39;aulast=Gupta;t=6}, eprint ={https://journals.lww.com/ijo/pages/default.aspx/article.asp?issn=0301-4738;year=1966;volume=14;issue=1;spage=36;epage=39;aulast=Gupta;t=6} }
