Figure 2: Fundus photo (a) and OCT (b) showing a sub-macular abscess in a case of chronic Hepatitis C with compensated liver cirrhosis and urinary tract infection, suggestive of endogenous endophthalmitis. The lesion worsened 3 days later as seen clinically (c) and on OCT (d). Urine culture grew Klebsiella pneumoniae (sensitive to piperacillin and resistant to ceftazidime).
