Glaucoma Guidebook, Edited by Gerald 1. Portney; 1977; Pp. 158; figs. tables, refs.; Philadelphia ($ 9. 75).

The author of this small book on Glaucoma has presented the matter in three sections. The first section is on the diagnosis and therapy of Glaucoma and includes the basic concept of glaucoma, open angle glaucoma and angle closure glaucoma and congenital glaucoma. The second section is on the method of clinical examination and includes the technique of projection perimetery and stereoscopic evaluation and the optic cup. Third section deals with the background of Glaucoma and covers the etiology of glaucoma.

Each section has adequately covered various aspects of the Glaucoma. Author has suggested various articles for additional reading. It is a useful book and will be a great help to the post-graduate students and practising ophthalmologists.
