This book is one of the Billere's concise Medical Text Book series. This is 3rd edition which is aptly updated. This book provides 18 chapters on various aspects of practice of ophthalmology in its basic and essential perspectives. The role of immunilogy, laser therapy, vitrectonay and lensectomy has been included. The chapters on injuries and care of the visually handicapped are the extremely useful chapters. The book has to its credit a simple language, best printing and excellent Illustrations drawings.
This book is best recommended for undergraduate and diploma level postgraduate students in Ophthalmology as well as general medical practitioners to practice basic medical ophthalmology.
