A 25-year-old male presented to us with a history of trauma to right eye with glass particles. The best corrected visual acuity in both eyes was 20/20. Fundus examination RE revealed an inferotemporal break (retinal flap) with a small discrete dark structure seen running along the length of the tear (seen against the scleral background) suggestive of an eyelash [Figure 1]a and [Figure 1]b. The patient underwent prophylactic barrage laser (PASCAL, Double frequency NdYAG-532 nm) surrounding the retinal break with three rows of confluent retinal burns [Figure 1]c. This case was managed conservatively as the patient had no visual complaints.[1]
